Really impressed with the new custom 56° lob wedge. The launch is exactly what I wanted — my monitor showed launch angles between 43–47° with 4,000–5,000+ rpm of spin even on short pitches, peaking nearly 30 feet high on a 35-yard shot. It gets up quickly, flies high, and lands soft — I can carry bunkers with total confidence knowing the ball will stop right where it lands. Even on my less-than-perfect strikes, every shot finished within a couple yards of my target line — the dispersion is impressively tight. Feel off the face is excellent, and it rewards a smooth tempo. Between this and the 52°, my short game setup is complete.

I have used alot of different wedges, but these really do take the cake. Consistency of feel off the face is top notch. My spin around the green has improved. Onyx has made me a better player! Highly recommend.

The Onyx 56° and 60° wedges have completely earned a permanent spot in my bag. The feel is incredible, the balance is perfect, and they generate all the spin I could ask for around the greens. Whether I’m hitting a full shot, a pitch, or a flop, they give me the confidence to be aggressive.

The biggest difference has been the 56° out of the bunker. I used to stand over sand shots hoping to get up and down. Now, when I pull the 56°, I don’t feel nearly as stressed. It glides through the sand effortlessly and gives me the confidence to hit the shot I want. Outstanding wedges that perform exactly the way you’d expect a premium forged club to perform.

These are the best wedges I have played. I have been playing competitive golf with vokey for 20 years and these wedges are different in the best way. The feel and control have helped take my approach game to the next level.

I originally switched from Vokey to Alchemy on the first release and used them so much that I needed another set. This time I went with the Onyx in 52, 56 and 60 and tipped them just a fraction but have been overly pleased with the consistent performance, even on off center shots.

I may replace my T100 wedge and move to the Onyx PW if I keep playing as well as I am now.
